CM as Agent Services for Rehabilitation of Sotomayor Houses

As a subconsultant, INFOTRAN was awarded the project for NYCHA to be a CM agent. The project is divided into 3 phases;
- Phase I includes 10 buildings with construction cost of $35 million
- Phase II includes 11 buildings and construction cost of $40 million
- Phase III includes 7 buildings and construction cost of $25 million
The scope of work included:
- Intensive masonry repairs in all buildings, bulkheads & replacement of existing parapet walls with railing systems and all roofs
- Replacement of all windows, gas risers (as necessary), garbage compactors & rehabilitation of bathrooms, sanitary sewer lines
- Repair and replacement of finishes in water-damaged apartments and replacement of water tanks as needed as well as upgrades of building entrances, lobbies, and security systems
- Abatement activities requiring air monitoring and environmental inspection services
- Complex phasing was incorporated for this project as all work was carried out in occupied buildings, with every effort not to inconvenience residents.
