Construction Management for Interior Compactor Replacement at Fifteen Developments
The purpose of these fifteen projects is to provide the complete removal, disposal, and replacement of existing interior waste compactor units and associated components as well as a refresh of the space. CM Services are included for the Pre-Construction, Construction, and Post-Construction phases of these projects. Developments included in these projects are Bronx – Adams, Marble Hill, Mill Brook, Mitchel, Brooklyn – Glenwood, Gravesend, Haber, Hughes, Manhattan – Amsterdam, Lincoln, Vladeck-II, Queens – Baisley, Shelton, S. Jamaica II, and Staten Island.
INFOTRAN as a subconsultant is providing field inspection and supervision services in the construction phase of the project. The scope includes field inspection and supervision for complete removal, disposal, and new replacement of existing interior waste compactor units and all component fittings with accessories including transition chutes and hoppers, shut-off gates, hydraulic power systems, and roller conveyors. Performs on-site inspections to check the quality of Work for conformance with Contract Documents, NYC Department of Buildings, Electricity Providers, and other agency requirements having jurisdiction. Guards NYCHA against defects and deficiencies in the Work, and coordinates testing and controlled inspections by third parties with the work of the construction contractors. Submit the Monthly Progress Report in accordance with the approved monthly schedule update submittals. Ensure and enforce that the Contractor submits the required monthly schedule updates in eBuilder by the end of each month.
