Our core capabilities are Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning, Construction Management and Inspection, Engineering Design, Architectural Design (NJ Only), Condition Assessment, and Disaster Recovery. Our team of professionals provides solutions to our public and private partners. We are currently serving all major NYC, NYS, and NJ state and local agencies that include but not limited to; PANYNJ, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NJDOT, NJ TRANSIT, NYCDEP, NYCSCA, MTA, DASNY, and NYCHA. WHAT WE DO
Construction Management/Inspection (CM/CI) is a professional service that provides a project’s owner with effective management of the project’s schedule, cost, quality, scope, and function. CM/CI department at INFOTRAN comprises of highly qualified, certified, and experienced Project Managers, Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, Superintendents and Inspectors, Estimators and Schedulers who execute complex and geographically dispersed Projects. We oversee the planning, design, and construction of projects throughout their lifecycle, perform regular quality checks and ensure that the client requirements are met and project is delivered on time and within budget.
Engineering / Architecture
The Engineering/Architecture Design department provides artful planning, by using scientific knowledge to design, construct and maintain a variety of facilities and infrastructure. As it is one of our fastest-growing departments, we have put together a group of highly talented and licensed Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers and Architects (NJ Only), to provide innovative design solutions for current structures, new structures as well as structures that need rehabilitation. Our design services include consulting, planning, analysis, and generation of technical data packages and specifications for bridges, commercial, residential and institutional buildings, waterfronts, and retaining walls. We take pride in working as a prime on various projects including the restoration work of Historical Structures that are over a century old.
Traffic / Transportation
Traffic/Transportation department uses engineering techniques to achieve safe and efficient movement of people, vehicular traffic, and goods via various modes of transportation. It constitutes one of INFOTRAN’s strongest and core competencies. With a group of highly competent and licensed Traffic Engineers and Planners, we effectively communicate and collaborate with clients to provide innovative and intelligent solutions to the public and private sectors. Over the past years, we have carried out projects that include Traffic Data Collection/Analysis, Road Safety Audits/Reviews, Highway Capacity Analysis, Traffic Impact & Operations Studies, Accident Analysis/Safety Studies, Incident/Congestion Management, Traffic Signal Design/Optimization, and Parking Studies/Parking Lot Design and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) applications.
Condition Assessment department ensures appropriate evaluation of the physical state of building elements and assesses the need for any immediate or future maintenance requirements. INFOTRAN has many professionals that are well qualified and certified to perform condition assessments of institutional buildings such as schools, school facilities, and hospitals as well as Bridges and Tunnels in metropolitan areas of New York and New Jersey. Our diligent and efficient team includes Licensed Engineers & Architects, HVAC, MEP, and Structural inspectors who provide an assessment of structure exterior and interior components and building systems that includes façade, roof, stairs, doors, windows, finishes, and all HVAC systems. In addition, we deploy innovative solutions and use requirement-based high-end technologies for buildings, bridges, and tunnel assessment.
Disaster recovery involves planning and establishing processes and procedures, and carrying out construction-related activities in areas that get affected by Natural Disasters. INFOTRAN has an experienced and meticulous team for Condition Assessment, Engineering Design, and Construction Inspection who have facilitated restoration and resilience projects using the five preparedness mission areas—Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery. We have worked on multiple Sandy Related NYCHA and NYCT’s projects to help facilitate “Pushing design boundaries in building reinforcements, storm surge protection, and infrastructure upgrades.”, Governor’s Office of Strom Recovery, and FEMA projects to ensure facilities impacted by superstorms are returned to pre-storm condition, raised above the mean flood levels and constructed to withstand extreme weather loads.
