INFOTRAN is a professional Engineering & Architecture services company, serving the public and private sectors since 2007. Our core capabilities are Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning, Construction Management and Inspection, Architectural and Engineering Design, Condition Assessment and Disaster Recovery. Our team of professionals provides solutions to our public and private partners. We are currently serving all major NYC, NYS, and NJ’s state and local agencies that include but not limited to; PANYNJ, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NJDOT, NJ TRANSIT, NYCDEP, NYCSCA, MTA, DASNY, and NYCHA. We have created mutually beneficial partnerships with many small, mid-size, and large businesses.
We have a team of highly qualified, reliable, focused, passionate, and enthusiastic engineering professionals with applicable training and licenses. We have efficient and effective Construction Managers and Inspectors, Civil, Highway, Structural, Traffic Engineers, and Planners, who through a combined effort, plan, design, and manage transportation facilities such as highways, airports, bridges, and railroads, as well as oversee site development of sanitary sewers, storm drainage, water supply systems and tunnel/street lighting. Our staff has hands-on experience with all Civil, Highway, Traffic/Transportation, and complex engineering projects including an extensive set of the latest engineering, scheduling, and estimating software, and other office productivity programs as well as traffic simulation and modeling. Our team of professionals are trained and have extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal safety and construction codes. INFOTRAN has a diverse portfolio of current and past projects. Our small business structure allows us to recruit and mobilize our workforce rapidly in geographically disperse locations. We are committed to successfully complete the project within the schedule with the highest possible quality and at the lowest possible cost.
INFOTRAN is a certified MBE/DBE/SBE firm across major cities and states that includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, and Texas.
OUR HISTORY
After completing his master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, and spending another decade in the industry, Sridhar Uttara founded InfoTran Engineers, P.C. in 2007. Our name INFOTRAN was born from the idea of applying Information Technology to improve safety and efficiency in Transportation. We focus on delivering Innovative and Intelligent Solutions applied to the Transportation Industries.
Since then, INFOTRAN has grown its capacity and executed multiple projects in the Construction Management / Inspection, Engineering Services, Architectural Services, Condition Assessment, and Disaster Recovery fields. INFOTRAN’s staff include Licensed Professional Engineers, Licensed Architects, Certified Construction Managers, and Certified Safety Professionals. We have expanded to a medium-size firm servicing public and private agencies across the United States and US Territories.
