Project Management Consultant Services Rockaway Line -Design-Build Wrap-Up Project
The Technical Scope of Services for these PMC Projects includes, among other things, coordination of all work on the PMC Projects with the work for other Projects in the Rockaway Line to assist the MTA in its realization of the Program Objectives.
Project consists mainly of communications and signal work along the Rockaway Line Right of Way (ROW). The limits are Howard Beach Station to Rockaway Park Yard. The scope includes repairs and replacements of the fender systems at the North Channel Bridge. Install fiber optic cables from Howard Beach Station to Hammels Wye. Install copper cables from Howard Beach Station to Hammels Wye. Remove existing Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) in equipment along the Rockaway Line. Replace signal cables at various locations from Hamilton Beach to the flats. Replace switch heat contactors in Rockaway Park Yard. INFOTRAN as a sub-consultant is awarded to provide support to oversee and verify that all design and construction activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the PMC contract requirements. Our team will conduct quality oversight, including reviews of the PMC Project to ensure that quality is monitored consistently. We will prepare reports regarding the progress and quality of the PMC Project, problems, issues, and concerns with respect to the status of the PMC Project, and recommendations to address issues.
