CCM & Inspection Services For Rehabilitation Of Five Circuit Breaker Houses
The project will provide Consultant Construction Management to assist MTA C&D in administering, managing, overseeing, and coordinating the construction and closeout phases of rehabilitation and new construction for five (5) Circuit Breaker Houses (CBH) in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. The scope of work includes rehabilitating the existing CBH at 111th & Broadway & Jamaica Yard and constructing a new CBH at Ave. U Station, Livonia Yard, and 121st St. The work will include duct bank installation, pull & terminate power cables, electrical, communications, mechanical, control cable installation, and pertinent equipment installation. The scope includes the work on tracks during weekends and weeknights GO.
INFOTRAN as a subconsultant will perform daily surveillance and inspections to verify that the contractors’ work is being completed per the contract documents’ requirements, including approved sketches. Prepare daily inspection reports showing the Design Builders’ total labor force the location of the construction activities, equipment used, and the actual work being performed. Reject work that does not conform to the Construction Contract Document’s requirements and immediately notify the MTA C&D PCEO and the Design-Builder of such rejection. Provide updates to the monthly Project Status Reports. The daily inspection reports shall be uploaded to the Construct ware or approved e-project software website daily. The Original paper copies of the reports shall be filed in the Project Office as project documentation.
