Project Management Consultant Services Rockaway Line – Design-Build Infrastructure Projects

The Technical Scope of Services for these PMC Projects includes, among other things, coordination of all work on the PMC Projects with the work for other Projects in the Rockaway Line to assist the MTA in its realization of the Program Objectives.

The scope for these projects consists of the rehabilitation of the Hammels Wye Viaduct, Rockaway Line Viaduct, and South Channel Bridge. The purpose of the Hammels Wye Viaduct project is to repair deteriorated elements of the closed deck elevated structure. This project will evaluate the condition of the viaduct structure between Rockaway Park/Beach 116th Street and Far Rockaway/Mott Avenue and repair the deteriorated elements of the line (nearly five (5) miles of elevated railway structure as well as ten (10) stations). The South Channel Bridgework comprises of replacement and/or rehabilitation to the mechanical system and electrical system that has reached the end of their useful life. INFOTRAN as a sub-consultant is awarded to provide support to oversee and verify that all design and construction activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the PMC contract requirements. Our team will conduct quality oversight, including reviews of the PMC Project to ensure that quality is monitored consistently. We will prepare reports regarding the progress and quality of the PMC Project, problems, issues, and concerns with respect to the status of the PMC Project, and recommendations to address issues.
