Subway and Elevated Stations Structural Repairs

INFOTRAN, as a sub-consultant was awarded the project by MTA-NYCT, to support the Prime consultant and the Authority in the management of Structural Repairs, Destructive Probes, Cores, and Access arrangements at various locations for Grade level and below ground subway stations, facilities, and structures and Elevated stations, elevation line structures, viaducts, and bridge structures. The Project consists of structural repairs at various locations within the five Boroughs of New York City. The work shall occur throughout NYCT (and SIRTOA) subway and elevated system along the Right-of-Way (ROW) at subway and elevated stations, within subway tunnels, and along with elevated viaduct structures between stations and above as well as below ground facilities. Scope of work includes but not limited to:

  • Repair of deteriorated steel members such as Roof, Beams, and Columns
  • Replace heavily corroded columns and Roof Beams
  • Removal of conduit, and conductors in the tunnel sections where structural columns are to be replaced/repaired
  • Installing new factory coated conduit, conductors, and light bulbs
  • Provide temporary lighting as required to maintain the existing lighting levels during repairs
  • Replace existing broken drainpipes; Install new drainpipes for drip pans.
