Construction Management Services for UPACA Houses Boiler/Heating Replacement
UPACA (Site 5) Houses complex is in Manhattan located between East 120st and 121st St. The scope includes the Roofing Replacement and Rooftop Structure Renovation construction project for 1 building at UPACA (Site 5) Houses. The construction management services are provided for boiler/heating system replacement. The project schedule is for 24 months of construction and 4-months of closeout.
As a subconsultant, INFOTRAN provides construction management services for boiler and hot water heater replacement during Pre-Construction, Construction, and Post Construction phases. The services include providing general construction administration for compliance with the Construction Contract requirements and the PLA on NYCHA’s behalf, performing on-site inspections to check the quality of Work for conformance with Contract Documents, NYC Department of Buildings, Bureau of Electrical Controls, ConEdison and other agency requirements having jurisdiction, and guarding NYCHA against defects and deficiencies in the Work, and coordinate testing and controlled inspections by third parties with the work of the construction contractors. Assist in compliance with all codes and regulatory requirements prior to inspections and will ensure timely scheduling of regulatory inspections to meet completion deadlines. Verify in writing that the contract work is complete and that it is compliant with plans and specifications. Issue NYCHA completion forms, and punch list, ensure site restoration and obtain required signoffs.
