Project Management Consultant for ADA Accessibility Upgrade and Station Renewal of Borough Hall Station

The project will provide Program Management Consultant, Construction Management, and Design Compliance Services to assist MTA C&D in administering, managing, overseeing, and coordinating the station renewal and ADA accessibility through installing elevators, new ADA boarding area, new platform edge, and replacing steel girder and tiles replacement at Borough Hall Station on Lexington Ave Line (IRT).

To provide full vertical accessibility, ADA-compliant paths are being created from street level to each of the platforms, as well as to the agent booth. Major elements of the Project include: One street-to-mezzanine traction elevator (EL-1) situated in the north-east mezzanine. One mezzanine-to-northbound platform hydraulic elevator (EL-2) positioned in the north-west mezzanine. One mezzanine-to-southbound platform hydraulic elevator (EL-3) located in the south mezzanine near the station box wall, outside of the Municipal Building cellar. New raised ADA boarding areas on both platforms. Reconfigured fare arrays with AFAS/agent operated gates.

INFOTRAN as a sub-consultant is awarded to provide support to oversee and verify that all design and construction activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the PMC contract requirements. Our team will conduct quality oversight, including reviews of the PMC Project to ensure that quality is monitored consistently. We will prepare reports regarding the progress and quality of the PMC Project, problems, issues, and concerns with respect to the status of the PMC Project and recommendations to address issues.
