CM as agent Services for Forest Houses
The Forest Houses are a housing project in Morrisania, Bronx. The project consists of fifteen buildings, 9, 10 and 14-stories tall with 1,350 apartment units. It covers a 17.72-acre expanse, and is bordered by East 163rd and East 166th Streets, and Trinity and Tinton Avenues
INFOTRAN as a subconsultant was awarded the project by NYCHA to provide CM services for the project. The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
• Repair of the building facades to address unsafe conditions
• Window lintel replacements, concrete structural repairs, asbestos abatement, and waterproofing
• Replacing roofing perimeters affected by the replacement and/or repairs of the existing parapet walls
• Repointing mortar joints and replacement of through-wall flashing
• Maintenance of submittal logs, checking the conformance of shop drawings, brick pointing, curb repair, windows and other electrical work
• Performing cost estimation, RFI, RFC, claims and changed order processing for efficient contract management
• Providing MEP inspection as and when needed
The construction supervisory and management is being conducted in accordance with NYDOB and NYCDOT.
