Lagos State Capacity Building
INFOTRAN as a prime consultant, conducted various studies to improve the State’s system and performed a comprehensive analysis to the Lagos strategic transportation master plan and transportation demand model. Analyzing the drawbacks of the existing model, a detailed work plan was discussed on different ways to improve the system. INFOTRAN’s team evaluated new bus rapid transit lines, ran micro-simulation models and recommended improvement strategies for Lagos State operations. The project involved providing technical assistance for massive data collection for updating the existing simulation model. INFOTRAN assisted in development of policies, guidelines, procedures for Drivers Institute and PC based driver’s simulation educational system to train drivers in obtaining license for Auto & Commercial vehicles.
