SJTA Facilities Improvement Program

The South Jersey Transportation Authority is seeking to add a new addition (aprox.400SQFT) to their existing Maintenance building to serve as general office space and relocate an existing corridor to an adjacent space that will impact the relocation of some electrical subpanels, miscellaneous conduits and equipment. An existing heating (hydronic) radiator will also need to be relocated and, lighting and ceiling modifications and the installation of a new rated door. It is also understood that by relocating the corridor a new path of travel study will be needed to show compliance with egress code requirements. The scope of the work also requires the installation of a new electrical service and the relocation of an existing generator.

In addition, South Jersey Transportation Authority is seeking to add a new single story 27Ft x 60Ft (aprox.) Emergency Service Patrol (ESP), the building is to be located at the Farley Service Plaza between EB and WB roadways of ACX. The proposed space program for the new building includes four offices, locker and toilet facilities, a kitchenette and utility spaces as needed to operate the building Authority prefers the building to resemble a residential home instead of an industrial or utilitarian building. Troof should be designed to carry a future solar panel installation. The building will be designed in accordance with the NJ Uniform Construction Code (NJAC 5:23) and all applicable sub-codes.

INFOTRAN’s scope of work is limited to architectural design services, including space planning, interior/exterior finishes, and code compliance.
