Long Term Flood Mitigation of 207th Street Yard

The 207^th Street Yard is located in Northern Manhattan, adjacent to the Harlem River. The yard is the main storage for the rolling stock on the A & C Lines. Hurricane Sandy caused significant damage to the 207^th St Yard and tunnels.

INFOTRAN as a sub-consultant is providing Consultant Construction Management (CCM) services to MTA-NYCT as part of a larger contract for Construction Management Services for Resiliency Project, Long Term Flood Mitigation, 207th Street Yard, Manhattan, NY.

The temporary barrier will be replaced by a permanent solution consisting of construction components. The scope includes installation of floodwalls, grout curtains, stop logs, sliding gates etc., provision of additional drains, discharge pipes.
