Underground Steam & Condensate lines at Polo Ground Towers, Harlem River and Taft Houses.

InfoTran Engineers, P.C., as a sub-consultant is providing CM as agent services for NYCHA for the underground steam pipe rehabilitation of the Polo Grounds, the Harlem River and Taft Houses in Manhattan, NY. The overall project objective is to assist Capital Projects Division (CPD) to maintain its building assets in a state of good repair for many years to come.

The scope of services for this project includes but is not limited to:

Site survey plan, flood analysis, asbestos abatement
Site & boiler tank demolition and construction plans for the replacement of all domestic cold, hot and recirculation valves
Replacing any removed or missing insulation on every riser in the sub-basement and all steam and condensate valves
Replace any removed or missing insulation on every riser, replacing the heating hot water and return lines, chilled water and return lines, valves and insulation in the crawl spaces from the pumps and heat exchangers to the vertical chases, installing new butterfly valves, strainers and separators
New Boiler installations, scheduling, tree removal and protection plan, landscape restoration & wall penetration detailing
